Excluding user data from backup
Use the following procedure to specify items to exclude from a user's backup:
- Log into your Spanning Backup for Google Workspace account as an admin user.
- Click Users. The users in your Google domain display.
- Locate the user whose data you will exclude from backup. Click the user's
icon and select Backup Settings.
- Under Backup Settings, check boxes to select Mailbox labels, Drives, Calendars, or Contact groups to exclude from this user's backups. Click Save.
Selected items will be excluded from subsequent backups.
You can modify a user's backup exclusions at any time by changing their Backup Settings.
